privacy

First and foremost, I am a sole business, and your privacy is important to me. It’s part of the trust relationship I am building with you. Trust is extremely important to a life coach, and I hope to build a long and lasting relationship with you. As a result, I only collect the minimum information I need to connect with you electronically, and I carefully chose reliable, secure, well established third parties.

electronic information i collect

I use website analytics tools to track visitor journeys on our site. This information includes number of visits, page views, browser, device, where users came from, that sort of thing. I don’t collect any personal information from our analytics, and can’t tie this data back to an individual like you. I use the analytics to make design choices, attract visitors, and keep users engaged.

I use Squarespace to host the publicly available content on this site, and their privacy policy is at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy - you are described as an ‘End User’, so if you want to understand what data they collect about you as you visit my site, look for references to ‘End User’.

When you choose to download my free Clutter to Clarity Starter Kit, I collect your first name, last name and email address. I also subscribe you my email newsletter. This is completely your choice, however, know that I have no desire or intention of using your email address for any other reason than to send you josmith.coach related emails, nor will I give or sell your email address to a third party.

I have no intention of spamming you, and I provide you with an unsubscribe link on every email newsletter I send, so you can unsubscribe at any point if you think I am, or are no longer interested in my content.

I also use analytics tools to track which links are clicked on my email newsletters.

get equipped

When you choose to take any of my online courses or download any of my equipping tools, I use Thinkific to host my course. I only collect the minimum information I need from Thinkific for you to take my course. This includes login details which you need to keep confidential, and can’t share with anyone.

get coached

When you choose to have any of my 1:1 life coaching sessions with me, I use Stripe to take credit card payments.

Stripe’s privacy policy is at https://stripe.com/en-ca/privacy if you want to understand what data they collect for payments. I only collect what Stripe need from you to pay for my service.

This site is intended for individuals over the age of 18.

The content and downloads on this site is my original content and is my copyright. Please don’t copy any of it for your own personal or commercial use. The content is provided as it is for your personal use only.

If you log in to any part of my site, please know that your login details are personal to you, are confidential, and can’t be shared with anyone else.

I may change the content of the site from time to time, including this privacy and site terms page.
