You have a goal. You feel excited. You fly.
You still have a goal. Not quite there. You feel OK. You kinda fly.
You still have the same goal. You dwindle. You feel bleh. You struggle to fly.
When the struggle is real, it is often a prompt to listen in on some internal conversations and go a little deeper with your wholeness transformation to sustain the next season of your journey. Yes, the next season, one season is ending and a new one is beginning. What has been working in this current season may need adjusting slightly for the next season.
When you say yes to a healthier way, you set incredible intentions. Lose those unwanted LBs, eat cleaner, tone up, drink more water, get stronger, move everyday etc.
I define wholeness as heart, soul, mind and strength. Those intentions, like those mentioned, are mainly revolved around your strength (your physical being). So what about your heart, soul and mind? They too are part of this journey. When the struggle is real, how too is your heart (your emotions), your soul (your behaviour), and your mind (your thinking)? What are you feeling? Is your behaviour responding or reacting? What are you really believing?
“Everyone else is doing well, why not me?”
“I’m busy anyway, so why bother?”
“I will never lose this weight and I will always struggle.”
From your internal conversations, what is your heart, soul, mind and strength saying? Are they sabotaging your goals? How different would it be if they supported you? For the next season of your journey, what would you like your internal conversations to be?
When the struggle is real, may I challenge you to listen in to what is pushing up and acknowledge what you are hearing. Be real, feel it, voice it out and express it.
You are brave, you can face this, one choice at a time. This is where real wholeness transformation happens. If you are struggling on your own, reach out and ask for support. I would be honoured to coach you.
